EVA Cartons: Redefining Corrugated Packaging With Sustainability & Innovation

Manish Bansal & Ritesh Jain , Co-Founders & Directors

The global packaging market is projected to expand from $1,109.44 billion in 2025 to $1,452.86 billion by 2032, driven by surging demand e-Commerce, FMCG, and consumer goods sectors. The market in India is growing at CAGR of 26.1 percent between the years 2024 and 2030 due to the e-Commerce that is changing shopping habits, increasing population, urbanization and the consumption of white goods.

Yet, there remain obstacles such as customer price sensitivity, employee shortages, and the variability of the prices of raw materials as well as the pursuit of sustainability amid environmental policies.

Eva Cartons addresses these challenges by providing dependable; high-strength corrugated packaging solutions tailored to diverse needs, from fruits and vegetables to heavy-duty industrial applications. The company, being the largest producer of corrugated boxes in central India, transforms about 3,000 tons every month, with its key consumers being food (Haldiram, Herbalife), furniture (Spacewood, Featherlite, and Godrej) and health sectors (Cipla, Drytech).

By leveraging advanced machinery imported from China, including a seven-ply plant and multi-color offset printing, Eva Cartons produces a wide range of products, ensuring durability and protective performance without compromising affordability.

Sustainable Packaging Practices

“Our product portfolio encompasses standard corrugated boxes, heavy-duty cartons, and customized shipping solutions”, says Manish Bansal, Co-Founder & Director, Eva Cartons. Durability is achieved through expert technical teams that conduct on-site assessments, optimizing specifications like single-wall, double-wall, or triple-wall constructions to balance load tolerance, lightweight design, and cost.

This approach mitigates price sensitivity by delivering value-driven innovations, such as adaptable fluting options and multi-color printing for branding, while maintaining high quality across applications in e-Commerce, FMCG, and logistics.

Sustainability is a core pillar of Eva Cartons' strategy. As the only company in central India with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, it commits to using recyclable, biodegradable raw materials, tracking data to differentiate from non-recyclable options. The use of moisture resistant coating enhances eco-friendly functionality, which aligns with the market demand of green packaging and adds value options to the ecologically minded customers.

Customer-Centric Innovation & Centralization of Industrial Data

“We are actively pursuing automation and digitalization to address the challenges in the industry, such as labor and operational efficiency”, says Manish Bansal. Innovations such as combined printing, gluing and stitching in one process machines have been undertaken in the recent past to avoid the use of manual work. AI-based ERP systems enable centralization of industrial data and minimize the cost and errors.

The feedback used by customers is incorporated into the formal procedures such as Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to maintain a continued level of innovation and optimization.

Partnership with clients is prioritized in product development; it begins with supply chain checklists, and factory visits and sample validations to match packaging with branding and logistics objectives. After-sales services, will involve special teams of technical support who will visit on a regular basis, address complaints, and hold daily meetings to maintain satisfaction. This expertise enables Eva Cartons to handle over 25 different sizes daily across multiple production lines, differentiating it in a competitive market by offering flexibility and reliability.

Looking ahead, Eva Cartons' aims to focus on innovation and expansion through pursuing EcoVadis certification from France reinforces its pledge against non-biodegradable materials. With acquiring land for their new factory, the company aims to double capacity within two years. These initiatives position Eva Cartons to drive value in the packaging sector, adapting to evolving demands while promoting sustainability and efficiency.
