ABB India and Deloitte India have announced a strategic alliance aimed at supporting enterprises in accelerating digital transformation across operations.

The collaboration seeks to help Indian manufacturers balance productivity, sustainability, and resilience while adopting AI-enabled and data-driven systems.

Both the companies partner to drive AI-driven manufacturing and digital transformation, enabling smart factories India through industrial automation, AI in manufacturing India, and advancing Industry 4.0 India initiatives.

The partnership will combine ABB India’s industrial automation and digital platforms, including the ABB Ability Genix Industrial Analytics and AI Suite, with Deloitte India’s transformation and cybersecurity expertise.

This integrated approach will enable organisations to monitor processes in real time, optimise energy consumption, improve production efficiency, enhance cyber resilience, and implement predictive maintenance systems. Each deployment will include cybersecurity measures to address emerging threats, ensuring secure and resilient digital operations.

Kapil Agarwal, Senior Vice-President and Local Division Manager, Process Industries, ABB India, stated that the collaboration merges ABB’s automation and digitalisation technologies with Deloitte India’s transformation and cybersecurity capabilities to drive operational excellence.

Deepa Seshadri, Partner at Deloitte India, added that businesses must pair digital adoption with cyber resilience. She highlighted that the alliance will help enterprises leverage AI-driven intelligence, build secure ecosystems, and achieve measurable outcomes in productivity, sustainability, and resilience.

The alliance will support process performance through Artificial Intelligence and machine learning-based predictive control, improved asset reliability, and enhanced manufacturing execution and operations management systems.

It will also enable organisations to pursue sustainability goals by reducing energy use, waste, and emissions, with digital safeguards embedded across operations, fostering connected, data-informed decision-making throughout the enterprise value chain.
