On his visit, Modi also met Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković at Banski Dvori. They issued a statement where they laid out importance in furthering world peace and democracy; as well as furthering the bilateral relation through enhanced trade, technology, and cultural cooperation.

The Prime Minister condemned terrorism, observing that Croatia had spoken of solidarity after the recent attack in Pahalgam, which has diluted bilateral friendship. Both sides agreed to grow trade, resilient, supply chains, and cooperation in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, information technology, clean and digital technology, renewable energy, semiconductors, shipbuilding, cyber security, and defence and also develop a long-term Defence Cooperation Plan.
To formalise this cooperation, four MoUs were signed: on cooperation in agriculture and allied sectors; on a cultural exchange programme for the period of 2026-2030; on cooperation in science and technology for the period of 2025-2029; and to establish a Hindi Chair at the University of Zagreb.
This visit will lay the foundation for a broad economic, cultural, and strategic partnership between India and Croatia.
