PM Narendra Modi’s Gujarat visit on October 30-31 will feature development projects worth over ₹14,000 crore, metro and road expansions, dairy infrastructure, ₹19,000 crore in PM-KISAN assistance and Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations.

The Prime Minister’s two-day visit to Gujarat on October 30 and 31 will include the launch of development projects worth more than ₹14,000 crore in Banaskantha, along with infrastructure initiatives in Ekta Nagar. The programme will cover transport, agriculture, dairy development, rural infrastructure and tourism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin his engagements in Banaskantha by visiting the Embryo Transfer Technology-In Vitro Fertilisation (ET-IVF) Laboratory and the Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre (BBBRC). Located in Bhildi, the 127-acre centre is designed to improve bovine breeding, genetic quality and reproductive technologies. It will be the first facility of its kind dedicated to the indigenous Kankrej cattle breed.

Modi will lay the foundation stones for Ahmedabad Metro Phase-2A, extending the network towards the airport, and Phase-2B, connecting GIFT City with Shahpur. He will also launch the development process for upgrading Ahmedabad-Mehsana Road from four lanes to eight lanes at an estimated cost of ₹2,600 crore.

The programme includes the foundation stone laying for 4,030 new child-friendly Anganwadi centres and the inauguration of 361 completed centres across Gujarat. In addition, 521 projects completed under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, involving an overall project cost of approximately ₹4,950 crore, will be dedicated to the nation. These projects include warehouses, cold storage facilities, processing centres and other agricultural infrastructure.

Modi will also release the 24th instalment of PM-KISAN, amounting to ₹19,000 crore, and flag off the Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)-Varanasi Express and Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU services. The instalment will provide financial assistance to eligible farmers nationwide.

On October 30, the Prime Minister will travel to Ekta Nagar to inaugurate Bharat Parv 2026, a cultural festival showcasing regional traditions, handicrafts, cuisines and tourist attractions. He will also attend Ekta Prakash Parv and the Narmada Aarti.
