Unimech Aerospace subsidiary Innomech has signed a long-term agreement with Honeywell Aerospace to supply precision aero-engine and control-system components through November 2036, expanding its aerospace manufacturing portfolio.

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Ltd has signed a long-term agreement with Honeywell Aerospace through its wholly owned subsidiary, Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private Ltd, to manufacture and supply precision components and assemblies for aero-engine and control-system applications. The agreement expands the Bengaluru-based company’s presence in the global aerospace manufacturing supply chain.

The agreement took effect on April 1, 2026, and will remain valid until November 1, 2036, unless extended or terminated under its terms. It establishes a contractual framework under which Honeywell Aerospace can issue purchase orders or statements of work to Innomech as required. The companies have not disclosed a specific contract value or guaranteed order volume.

The partnership marks an expansion of Unimech’s aerospace manufacturing portfolio beyond its existing work in aerostructure components and assemblies. The addition of precision parts for aero-engines and control systems broadens the range of applications the company can serve for global aerospace customers.

Manufacturing components for these applications requires tight dimensional tolerances, robust process controls, rigorous quality assurance and consistent supply reliability. Meeting these requirements is essential in aerospace production, where component precision and performance are critical to operational safety and reliability.

The agreement aligns with Unimech’s strategy of expanding its engagement with international aerospace customers through long-term production programmes. Its manufacturing capabilities span aero-tooling, aerostructures, precision components and complex engineering solutions for aerospace, defence, energy and semiconductor industries.

For Honeywell Aerospace, the arrangement provides a framework for sourcing specialised components and assemblies from Innomech over the agreement period, subject to individual purchase orders and statements of work. For Unimech, it creates an opportunity to expand its participation in the aero-engine and control-system supply chain.
