Aimtron, Aurassure Team Up for IoT Weather Monitoring Systems
- Aimtron Electronics has signed an OEM agreement with Aurassure to manufacture IoT-based weather and environmental monitoring systems in India
- The devices will be designed and produced at Aimtron’s Odisha facilities, with support for engineering and manufacturability
- The partnership addresses growing demand for real-time environmental monitoring and supports India’s smart infrastructure and climate goals
Aimtron Electronics Limited has made a new original equipment manufacturing (OEM) partnership with Aurassure for the production of IoT-enabled outdoor weather and environmental monitoring systems in India, as per the information shared by the company through a statement.
This collaboration will see Aimtron produce the next-generation environmental monitoring stations from Aurassure which are capable of real-time data capturing of the main parameters such as particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), fumes, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, and wind direction among others.
The systems have been designed to allow for the constant data transmission to the cloud-based platforms which ultimately result in real-time monitoring, analytics, and decision-making. The firms indicated that every single product announced under the partnership is conceived, manufactured, and sold in India only with the production site located in Odisha.
In addition to manufacturing, Aimtron will assist in product design, engineering optimization, and enhancing manufacturability to make sure the systems are reliable in various environmental and operating conditions.

The strategic partnership has been made at a period when the demand worldwide for precise and immediate environmental and weather intelligence is increasing. The release cites industry predictions that the global weather monitoring systems market, which was around USD 2.1 billion in 2024, is going to be almost USD 5 billion by 2034.
The World Health Organisation's and India's Central Pollution Control Board's data speak louder than words, as pollution has gone up in many areas surpassing the maximum limits set.
Sneh Shah, Whole-time Director, Aimtron Electronics stated, “We design and manufacture products for today’s needs while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges. Through our manufacturing engagement with Aurassure, we are leveraging advanced manufacturing to build environmentally responsible monitoring systems”.
Akanksha Priyadarshini, Co-Founder & CEO, Aurassure added, “As the demand for credible environmental intelligence grows, scalable and dependable hardware becomes critical. Aimtron’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities help us deploy monitoring systems that can operate reliably across diverse conditions and use cases”.
The partners mentioned that the collaboration is a booster to India’s ambitions of becoming a global hub for electronics manufacturing, infrastructure that is sustainable environmentally, and practices to adapt to climate change.
