APM Terminals Pipavav, the provider of integrated cargo and inland services, has awarded a five-year collaborative contract with ONGC to create an offshore oil and gas logistics base at the multi-cargo Pipavav Port.

The partnership ensures the private port operator will serve as ONGC’s strategic supply base partner, thereby reinforcing the port’s important role in offshore operations in India. The collaboration aims to ensure India’s energy security while offering world-class port infrastructure for ONGC’s offshore assets.

APM Terminals Pipavav partners with ONGC to develop an offshore logistics hub, enhancing oil and gas infrastructure and maritime operations.

This collaborative arrangement will utilize its proximity to Tapti and oil fields in the Kutch region to conceptualize safe, reliable, safe, and well-equipped facilities to support successful offshore operations. This initiative will signal a long-term commitment to India’s energy sector.

The collaboration strengthens India’s offshore base, maritime logistics, and offshore supply chain, supporting the oil industry and energy sector partnerships.

As a result of the new contract, APM Terminals Pipavav (GPPL) will be able to deliver improved operational efficiency and supply chain resiliency to ONGC through its modern multi-modal infrastructure, warehouse integration and location near critical offshore locations.

The new multi-modal infrastructure will enable the company to service the offshore assets with reliability, while extending the oil and gas logistics ecosystem more widely.
