Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will visit Surat and Gandhinagar on October 27-28 to attract investment, as the state targets ₹5 lakh crore in new investments and over 10 lakh jobs by 2030-31.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will lead a state delegation to Gujarat on October 27 and 28, 2026, to attract fresh investments and strengthen industrial partnerships. The state aims to secure approximately ₹5 lakh crore in new investments and generate more than 10 lakh employment opportunities by 2030-31 under its Make in Haryana Industrial Policy-2026.

The two-day visit will cover Surat and Gandhinagar, with investor meetings, a Pravasi Milan Samaroh and a Haryana Investment Roadshow. Saini will hold one-to-one meetings with investors in Surat on October 27 to discuss industrial expansion, investment prospects and opportunities to establish businesses in Haryana. The programme will also connect the state government with members of the Haryana diaspora and prominent business representatives.

On October 28, the Haryana Investment Roadshow will take place in Gandhinagar, bringing together industrialists, investors and representatives from various sectors. The event will showcase Haryana’s industrial infrastructure, connectivity, skilled workforce and investment policies while facilitating discussions on potential projects, business partnerships and investment proposals. The government will also explore the possibility of signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with investors.

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh will accompany the delegation. Dr Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary of the state’s Industries and Commerce Department, said the outreach programme aims to present Haryana’s industrial capabilities to a wider business community and encourage new investment.

The state’s industrial policy seeks to accelerate manufacturing, promote technological innovation and create a favourable environment for domestic and international investors. The proposed investment target is intended to support new industrial projects, expansion of existing businesses and employment generation across sectors.

The Gujarat visit follows Haryana’s broader efforts to attract investment through international and domestic outreach. In October, the state reported investment proposals worth approximately ₹5,500 crore following Saini’s visit to Singapore, covering healthcare and wellness, water treatment and management, and education.
