During high level engagements in London, India and the United Kingdom have re-affirmed their defence ties with the main focus on enhancing military cooperation and responding to modern warfare challenges. The conversations were held during the visit of Anil Chauhan, who saw UK Defence Minister Luke Pollard and Indo-Pacific Minister Seema Malhotra.

One of the main themes of the talks was "the changing nature of conflict,” which indicated how warfare is being more and more influenced by cyber capabilities, space assets, and advanced technologies rather than just conventional forces. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing through military-to-military cooperation; including joint exercises, training exchanges, and operational collaborations.
