
ONGC, GAIL Sign MoU at IEW 2026 to Boost Exploration

The state-owned energy companies Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and GAIL India Limited executed a Memorandum of Understanding at India Energy Week 2026 to assess technical collaboration and strategic partnership opportunities for their future exploration bid rounds.
The MoU, which ONGC and GAIL signed at ONGC's Advanced Training Institute in Goa recently, establishes a foundation for public sector collaboration between both companies within India's upstream energy industry.
The event brought together ONGC Director for Strategy and Corporate Affairs Shri Arunangshu Sarkar together with ONGC Director for Exploration Shri O P Sinha and GAIL Director for Business Development Shri R K Singhal.
The official statement describes the MoU as a framework for developing technical partnerships while building organizational capabilities and participating in future exploration activities.
