TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with ALA Group to jointly target opportunities in India’s rapidly expanding aerospace and defence supply chain market.
Both the companies have entered into a MoU partnership to strengthen their presence in the aerospace defence market India through a strategic collaboration focused on defence logistics, aerospace supply chain integration, and supporting the growth of the India defence industry.
The agreement establishes a strategic framework to deliver integrated supply chain solutions which cover both production and aftermarket lifecycles. The partners plan to begin their operations in India, but they intend to expand their business activities into other regions during their future growth.
India’s aerospace and defence market, valued at approximately $28 billion, is one of the most dynamic segments within industrial supply chains. The demand for mission-critical logistics services, which need to meet strict regulations, and for specialized procurement services has created new business opportunities in the market.
TVS SCS will use its extensive experience in managing defence and utility supply chains through established UK operations to build its domestic network. The company generates approximately $140 million in annual revenue from its aerospace, defence, and utility operations, which primarily support UK defence and utility projects.

The ALA Group, which generated 345 million dollars in revenue during 2024, will deliver specialized knowledge in aerospace and defense together with advanced global technology platforms and its established connections with original equipment manufacturers and operators throughout Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom.
TVS SCS Managing Director Ravi Viswanathan observed that the Indian aerospace and defense sectors are currently undergoing their most important development phase because domestic manufacturing projects and international supply chain changes are entering the market.
The partnership will assess all service components, which include production assistance, spare parts supply chain management, inventory control, defense logistics operations, logistics design, complete aftermarket, and maintenance, repair, and operations services.
Vittorio Genna, CEO and Co-Founder of ALA Group, said the collaboration creates a platform for sustainable growth across regions, supporting both civil and defence aerospace programmes.
Mauro Romano, CEO of ALA MENA, stated that the partnership would enable their companies to develop complete certified aerospace and defence supply chain solutions for the Indian market.
