As per report, Indian firms and startups are reinforcing their presence at CES 2026, the most significant and influential tech showcase in the world, which is an indication of India’s increasing importance in the global innovation ecosystem.

The senior CES organizers have not only accepted the growing participation but have also given a hint that they are expecting even larger representation from India in the next few years.

During the press conference at CES, John Kelley, the Vice President and Show Director of CES, spoke about the increasing visibility of Indian startups on the show floor as a positive trend.

He pointed out Ultrahuman, a health technology company based in Bengaluru, as one of the Indian brands that are attracting attention this year. The company is recognized for its health-centric consumer technologies, which include the world's lightest sleep-tracking wearable according to their claim, a continuous glucose monitoring platform, and preventive blood-testing solutions.

CES 2026 has almost 150 countries participating, thus confirming its position as a genuinely global event. Kelley mentioned that nearly 40 percent of people and companies who are present at the event are from other countries, and the number is getting bigger and bigger as foreign start-ups look for worldwide market.

The Consumer Technology Association is in charge of CES 2026, which lasts until January 9 and has over 4,100 exhibitors displaying new products in the areas of artificial intelligence, digital health, mobility, robotics, energy, and quantum computing. According to CTA CEO Gary Shapiro, the gathering of innovators, investors, and policymakers in the event will be the turning point for new technologies to enter the market.

Among the Indian companies present at the event are MedTech company aabo, smartwatch maker Noise, ArvyaX Technologies, Sona Comstar, Zoondia, and Ultrahuman. Kelley also mentioned that in 2024, CES set up the first dedicated Indian pavilion, which has been a great help in promoting Indian innovation and maintaining its presence at the global tech fair.
