  • Air India and STARLUX Airlines now offer combined single-ticket itineraries
  • Air India to Taipei via Southeast Asia; STARLUX to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru
  • Strengthens networks and premium travel, complementing Air India’s new Manila route

Tata owned Air India announced an interline agreement with Starlux Airlines from Taiwan which is an important step to get India and East Asia connected.

It has been said that the agreement enables passengers to book multiple parts of their trip with a single ticket which flawlessly combines Air India’s flights with Starlux’s, hence making travel planning easier and more convenient apart from other improvements it brings.

As a part of the deal, each of the companies is going to provide transportation for the travellers which is a very good example of a win-win situation; for instance, Air India will transport its passengers to Taipei via Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur.

Air India CEO, Nipun Aggarwal added, "We are excited to partner with luxury full-service carrier, STARLUX Airlines, to enhance travel options across for our customers to Taiwan." The airline partnership is to enhance international flights and air travel options. This aviation collaboration strengthens their airline alliance and boosts global connectivity for travelers.

While Starlux Airlines will be doing the same for those passengers but in India's major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru, hence both airline companies expand their travel options in each other's market.

This interline deal emphasizes Air India's dedication to providing premium travel experiences, while it gives STARLUX passengers a chance to explore India's vibrant cities in full-service comfort through our extensive network.

STARLUX Airlines is a boutique international airline, servicing over 30 destinations from Taiwan, including the U.S., Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

This announcement follows Air India's recent milestone on October 1, when it launched India's first non-stop flight to the Philippines, with service from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport to Manila. These developments are part of Air India's forward-looking strategy to expand its international presence while giving travelers better connectivity through Asia and beyond.
