- Andhra Pradesh government is granting an early-bird incentive of ₹856 crore to SSEPL
- The projects, including PCB, CCL, and Electronics Manufacturing Services units, will collectively create 2,100 jobs
- The PCB unit is the first project under the state’s new ECMS Policy
In a significant boost for India’s electronics manufacturing sector, the Andhra Pradesh government has granted an 'early bird' incentive of ₹856 crore to Syrma Strategic Electronics Private Limited (SSEPL) for setting up the largest Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing facility.
The initiative will fit well into the Centre's production linked incentive scheme, and it will also be the first project under the state's newly announced Electronics Components Manufacturing and Supply (ECMS) Policy (2025–30).
The Syrma Group will invest a ₹1,593 crore in three projects in Menakuru village which is about 5 km from Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh state, and will provide jobs for 2,100 people.
A state government official stated, "The project will produce single, multilayer, HDI and flexible PCBs, which are critical components used in consumer electronics, automotive, telecom and renewable energy sectors. Officials say the facility will help reduce India’s import dependence on PCBs, a major gap in the electronics value chain".
Of the ₹1,593 crore, ₹1,076 crore will be targeted towards the PCB manufacturing, R&D and other ancillary and support facilities, which is expected to generate of 1,011 jobs.

In addition to the flagship printed circuit board (PCB) unit, the state also approved two other proposals from Syrma. The first involved a Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) facility which will have an investment of ₹417.78 crore and will employ 647 people. The area allocated for CCL manufacturing includes 10 acres of land at similar concessional terms.
The second project will establish an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) facility with a ₹100 crore investment that will employ 510 people and occupy 4.14 acres of land.
The approvals were noted by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting on August 28, according to an official government release.
