Bentley Cuts Bentayga Prices After India-UK Trade Deal
Bentley has begun accepting orders for the Bentayga SUV at reduced prices in India, following the implementation of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), with lower import duties making the luxury SUV more competitively priced and boosting demand for British premium vehicles.
Bentley has started accepting orders for the Bentayga luxury SUV in India at reduced prices following the implementation of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The revised pricing comes after lower import duties on eligible UK-manufactured vehicles took effect, making the Bentayga more accessible to luxury car buyers and strengthening Bentley's growth prospects in the Indian market.
The India-UK FTA, which came into force on July 15, 2026, introduces phased reductions in customs duties on eligible British-made vehicles imported into India under a tariff-rate quota system. For qualifying internal combustion engine vehicles, import duties have fallen significantly from the previous levels, enabling luxury automakers to revise prices and improve competitiveness.

Bentley's Bentayga, the brand's best-selling model in India, is expected to benefit substantially from the revised duty structure. The company has begun taking customer orders at the new prices while aligning inventory with anticipated demand. Industry observers expect the lower pricing to expand Bentley's addressable customer base and stimulate demand in India's growing ultra-luxury vehicle segment.
The pricing revision forms part of Bentley India's broader expansion strategy, which includes strengthening its direct sales operations, maintaining a unified national pricing policy, and enhancing customer engagement through its dealership network. The company currently operates through three dealer partners in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and New Delhi, supporting its long-term ambition to expand sales in the country.
The India-UK trade agreement is expected to benefit several British luxury automotive brands, including Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, McLaren, and Jaguar Land Rover. Lower import duties are anticipated to improve affordability for premium imported vehicles while encouraging greater competition in India's luxury automobile market.
