
KETO Motors to Invest Rs 300 Cr in Telangana EV Bus Plants
- KETO Motors signs ₹300 crore MoU with Telangana to set up an electric bus manufacturing plant, creating 2,000+ jobs

Recently, KETO Motors and the Government of Telangana signed an MoU to build an electric bus manufacturing facility in Jadcherla that will accelerate the state’s clean mobility initiative significantly.
The MOU was signed during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 being held at Bharat Future City. The total investment will be ₹300 crores, and within three years it is estimated to provide more than 2000 direct jobs.
The state-of-the-art production unit will be dedicated to making electric buses of 9 meters, which will be accessible to customers in the local as well as the global market.

The Telangana government will provide its assistance to the company through the TG-iPASS project, which is a single-window approval system and will, therefore, allow the company to get statutory and regulatory clearances very quickly.
Present at the signing ceremony was Telangana Minister D Sridhar Babu, who highlighted that this investment will not only give the state’s electric vehicle ecosystem a strong base but also the area of manufacturing will receive advanced technology and thus the whole vision of the state towards sustainable & innovation-driven industrial growth would be met.
The project signifies a turning point in promoting the state’s participation in the flourishing electric vehicle market while still being an active player in the larger scale of environmental conservation and economic objectives.
Venkatesh Challa, Director at KETO Motors stated, “The new facility at Jadcherla will allow us to expand production, build globally benchmarked electric buses, and contribute meaningfully to the state’s vision for sustainable transportation. This MoU is a significant step in our long-term growth plan and reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality electric mobility solutions while strengthening India’s domestic manufacturing capabilities”.
