Landmark Cars and OLX India partner to create a phygital pre-owned car platform combining online discovery, AI-powered pricing, physical inspections, financing and after-sales support.

Landmark Cars Limited and OLX India, part of CarTrade Tech Limited, have entered into a strategic partnership to create an integrated physical-and-digital, or “phygital,” platform for buying and selling pre-owned cars in India. The initiative will combine OLX India’s digital automotive marketplace with Landmark Cars’ retail and service network.

Under the partnership, Landmark Cars will integrate more than 140 vehicle retail and service touchpoints across 12 states. The company has served more than 500,000 customers since its inception. OLX India, meanwhile, has more than 23 million consumers buying or selling used cars annually through its platform.

The companies said the partnership is designed to combine the convenience of online vehicle discovery with physical inspection and transaction support. The proposed customer journey will cover vehicle discovery, inspection and test drives, financing, registration transfer, vehicle handover, post-sale servicing and warranty support.

The rollout will take place in phases, beginning with selected key cities before expanding across India, subject to the partnership meeting specified performance metrics. OLX India will manage the online customer experience, including customer discovery and digital engagement.

The digital platform will also use OLX India’s proprietary VAYA AI technology for pricing intelligence, buyer-seller matchmaking, vehicle-condition intelligence and market insights. The technology is expected to support customers and businesses across different stages of the pre-owned vehicle transaction.

Landmark Cars outlets will operate as physical “Experience Centres,” where customers can access vehicle inspection and handover services. Vehicles will be acquired and sold through a co-branded proposition on a revenue-sharing basis, with quality certification and after-sales services forming part of the offering.

Aryaman Thakker, Executive Director of Landmark Cars, said the company aims to build its presence in the pre-owned vehicle industry through a scalable and sustainable model. The partnership brings together Landmark’s dealership network, customer relationships, inspection capabilities, financing relationships and after-sales infrastructure with OLX India’s digital reach and technology.
