MSEDCL, GEAPP Collaborate on AI & Storage for Smart Grid
- MSEDCL partners with GEAPP to adopt AI and ML for power monitoring, load management, and demand forecasting
- The collaboration includes Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to stabilise supply and manage renewable assets
- GEAPP, backed by global foundations, supports scalable and eco-friendly energy solutions through public-private partnerships
The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) has revealed it will be working on improving both the efficacy and the resiliency of the power landscape of the state by digitisation, advanced analytics, and renewable energy integration.
The partnership is to implement smart grid solutions, leveraging AI in energy and advanced energy storage for efficient power grid management.
MSEDCL signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) with the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) to achieve the aforementioned goals by deploying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for real-time monitoring, load management, and demand forecasting.
This collaboration aims to enhance Maharashtra electricity infrastructure and deliver smart energy solutions for a sustainable future.
