Paras Defence, DRDO Sign Tech Deal for T-90 Night Vision

Paras Defence and Space Technologies has signed a licensing deal with DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) within the Ministry of Defence to obtain the Driver Night Sight (DNS) System's technology from DRDO for T90 tanks.; however Paras Defence did not provide specific information on this Licensing Agreement.
The company stated, “A Licensing Agreement for Transfer of Technology of Driver Night Sight (DNS) for T-90 Tank has been signed between Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited (PARAS)”.

Earlier this month, Paras Defence also obtained a contract of 71.68 crore rupees (including GST) from the Instrumentation Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), a DRDO laboratory, for the delivery of 2 optronic periscopes intended for use on submarines. The contract will be completed by August-September 2026.

For the period of Q2FY26, the corporation realised revenue from defence engineering amounting to Rs 67.28 crore which was part of total revenues of Rs 105.72 crore for that quarter. This company has observed growth in value of shares of around 42.92% thus far in this calendar year.
A one per cent increase occurred on Wednesday after the announcement of a licensing agreement was made between them and the DRDO when the price opened at Rs 717.75.
