India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a key bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ meeting in Bishkek, underscoring continued engagement between the two countries on regional security and stability.

The interaction comes amid ongoing efforts to maintain dialogue between India and China following years of tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
