Rolls-Royce has finalized a new contract with Bharat Forge Ltd to create and supply fan blades for its Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines as part of the companies' longstanding partnership. The agreement was signed at Rolls-Royce's Dahlewitz site near Berlin and advances Rolls-Royce's commitment to double its supply chain sourcing from India by 2030.

Bharat Forge has been supplying components for the Pearl 700 programme since 2020, and in 2024 delivered its first fan blade with zero defects. The companies collaborate to manufacture engine fan blades for Pearl 10X engines, strengthening aerospace manufacturing India and advancing the India aerospace industry.

The new contract expands this collaboration to include the Pearl 10X engine, which is the latest engine in the Pearl family, and is the most powerful, generating more than 18,000 pounds of thrust. The Pearl 10X has an Advance2 core, and a high-performance, low-pressure subsystem intended to improve efficiency in the business aviation market segment.

This Bharat Forge partnership highlights innovation in aerospace engineering, production of high-quality aviation components, and reinforces Rolls-Royce India collaboration in advanced engine manufacturing.
