
Solterra Technologies Partners with Sinpro Electronics for EV Parts
Solterra Technologies partners with Taiwan’s Sinpro Electronics to distribute EV motors, motor controllers and DC-DC converters in India, while expanding Bengaluru R&D capabilities to support local electric mobility innovation.
Solterra Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company involved in the production of power electronic devices and electric vehicle chargers in India, collaborates with Sinpro Electronics Co. Ltd., a company based in Taiwan, in providing more electric vehicle powertrain parts in the Indian market. The collaboration will include the provision of Sinpro’s electric vehicle motors, motor controllers, and DC-DC converters to Indian consumers.
This cooperation entails the merging of the electronic expertise of Sinpro with the existing network of Solterra in the rapidly expanding electric mobility ecosystem of India. The terms of the cooperation entail that the role of Solterra will be to facilitate the use of Sinpro products in accordance with varying electric mobility needs. This cooperation is considered an India-exclusive one by Solterra.

The portfolio contains EV Motors, Motor Controllers, and DC-DC Converters. The product is designed to perform important functions in the vehicle such as propulsion and conversion of electricity for the auxiliary system. Sinpro's DC-DC solution can be accessed in India via Solterra for EVs.
In addition to this collaboration, Solterra will expand its engineering capacity in India. For this purpose, the company will establish a Research and Development center in Bengaluru that will be inaugurated on September 18, 2026. This center will facilitate the development of products, engineering and adaptation of technologies for Indian usage along with collaborations with OEMs and technology partners.
Solterra, founded in 2022, designs EV charging and power electronics products for two-, three-, and four-wheeler applications. Some of the product offerings include portable and on-board chargers, power modules, EV communication controllers, and associated engineering services. Manufacturing centers are located in Chennai and Bengaluru, while office locations are in Ghaziabad and Bengaluru.

Since 1995, Sinpro Electronics has been working in the field of power electronics. This partnership is likely to help in gaining better access to specific EV parts and help in developing engineering and technology in India as the electric mobility industry keeps growing.
