
JSW MG Motor India Picks Eight Startups for Developer Programme
JSW MG Motor India selects eight startups for Season 6 of its MG Developer Program to explore AI, electric vehicle supply chains, mobility intelligence, industrial applications and sustainability solutions.
JSW MG Motor India has selected eight startups for the sixth season of its MG Developer Program (MGDP), an initiative designed to accelerate innovation across automotive technology, electric mobility, industrial operations and sustainability. The selected startups will collaborate with the automaker and its ecosystem partners to explore pilot projects and real-world applications.
The programme received more than 130 applications under the theme “Innovation in Automotive”. Following a multi-stage evaluation process, over 40 startups advanced to presentation rounds, while 18 reached the final jury stage.

The selected startups are Nayan Technologies, Technod8.AI, LiveNSense, LW3, Smaartbrand by Acquink Solutions, Fitsol, Cautio and Meta Materials Circular Market. Their solutions address different requirements across the automotive value chain, including road intelligence, artificial intelligence, electric vehicle supply chains, customer insights, carbon reduction and circular-economy infrastructure.
Nayan Technologies develops an AI-powered road intelligence platform, while Technod8.AI focuses on agentic artificial intelligence for physical-world applications. LiveNSense provides industrial AI solutions for heavy industries, and LW3 develops an AI- and blockchain-based compliance platform for electric vehicle battery supply chains.
Smaartbrand by Acquink Solutions works on AI-based customer voice and decision intelligence, while Fitsol focuses on decarbonising supply chains. Cautio offers a mobility intelligence platform, and Meta Materials Circular Market develops digital infrastructure to support India's automotive circular economy.
Through the programme, JSW MG Motor India intends to evaluate how emerging technologies can address operational challenges, improve customer experience and support sustainable mobility. The selected startups will have opportunities to work with the company and its partners on pilot initiatives, helping assess the practical applications and scalability of their solutions.
Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the convergence of mobility, data and artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities for innovation in the automotive industry. He added that the programme provides startups with a platform to collaborate, experiment and scale their ideas across automotive technology, sustainability, industrial intelligence and mobility services.

Introduced in 2019, the MG Developer Program has received more than 1,680 startup entries across areas such as connected mobility, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence and sustainability. Season 6.0 was conducted in partnership with organisations including the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Startup India, Jio, Gulf Oil India, TiE Delhi NCR, iCreate, The Energy and Resources Institute, and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited.
The latest selection reflects the growing role of startup partnerships in automotive innovation, as manufacturers explore new technologies to improve efficiency, develop intelligent mobility solutions and strengthen environmental performance.
