Nestle India teams up with Genpact For Hyderabad GCC
Synopsis: Nestle partners with Genpact to establish its first Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, strengthening its digital operations and global business services network while reinforcing India's position as a strategic technology and innovation hub.
Nestle has announced the establishment of its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India, selecting Hyderabad as the location for the new facility in partnership with professional services firm Genpact. The centre, to be set up under Nestlé Business Services India, is designed to strengthen the company's global business services network by integrating advanced technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and process intelligence into its operations.
The Hyderabad GCC will support Nestle's worldwide operations by delivering end-to-end business solutions, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing consistency across global markets. Genpact will contribute its expertise in data, AI, automation, and digital operations to help the company simplify, standardise, and scale its business processes. The collaboration reflects a broader shift among multinational corporations towards technology-enabled shared services that improve agility and long-term operational resilience.
Hyderabad was selected due to its strong technology ecosystem, robust infrastructure, and growing reputation as one of India's leading destinations for Global Capability Centres. The city has increasingly attracted multinational companies across sectors, supported by a skilled talent pool and a favourable business environment. The new facility is expected to strengthen India's role as a strategic hub for global business services while creating opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.

The announcement comes after Nestlé India reported revenue of ₹23,110 crore for FY26, reflecting continued business growth despite inflationary pressures. The company has been focusing on expanding its presence in rural and semi-urban markets while investing in long-term capabilities to support sustainable growth. The establishment of the GCC represents another strategic investment aimed at improving productivity, enhancing customer experience, and building future-ready business operations.
According to company executives, the Hyderabad centre will combine domain expertise with digital capabilities to deliver greater value, consistency, and innovation across Nestlé's global operations. The global partnership with Genpact also highlights the growing importance of India as a destination for high-value global operations, with GCCs increasingly serving as centres for technology, analytics, finance, and business transformation for multinational enterprises.
