Air India just raised its fuel charge on both domestic and overseas flights. Fuel prices spiked because of war issues in west Asia. That's made operations more expensive. Domestic trips and those within SAARC get a flat 399 for new bookings. International fares vary, $10 for west Asia, $60 for southeast Asia, up to $90 in africa. Longer journeys to europe or north America will see even higher fees later this year. These adjustments reflect real-time market swings caused by regional conflicts. Jet fuel prices climbed sharply after supply lines got disrupted.

Air India says the hikes are necessary to keep services running safely. The company doesn't offer refunds when fuel costs go up. Travelers should expect changes in their bill soon.
