Euler Motors, an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jio-bp to jointly expand electric vehicle charging stations at important Indian logistics centers which will help boost electric commercial vehicle usage.

The partnership will focus on identifying fleet-heavy locations with high charging demand, engaging with fleet operators, and deploying charging infrastructure in priority areas to enhance operational efficiency.

The collaboration will use Jio-bp's wide charging network together with its fleet platform to assist Euler Motors in deploying its electric cargo vehicle network. Jio-bp operates about 7000 charging stations at more than 1000 sites throughout India which makes it an essential part of the country's expanding electric vehicle infrastructure.

The partnership aims to improve fleet operations through charging stations that match the needs of commercial vehicle operations which helps solve a major problem that electric logistics companies encounter.

Sarthak Behuria, who serves as Chairman of Jio-bp, stated that vehicle manufacturers need to join forces with energy infrastructure providers because their partnership constitutes the essential requirement for India to achieve sustainable mobility development throughout its commercial logistics operations.
