Hindustan Zinc signs 11 MoUs for its proposed Rajasthan Zinc Industrial Park, attracting manufacturing and engineering partners to expand downstream production and MSME participation.

Hindustan Zinc Limited, a Vedanta Group company, has signed 11 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industry partners to advance the development of its proposed Zinc Industrial Park at Khankhala in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. The agreements aim to attract manufacturing, engineering and service companies to establish operations within a dedicated industrial ecosystem focused on zinc-based products and downstream applications.

The MoUs were signed at the ZnAL Confluence 2026 in Jaipur . The participating companies include Gainwell Commosales Private Limited, Epiroc Mining India Private Limited, Sai Deepa Rock Drills, Shree Nakoda Infrasteel Pvt Ltd, Suryakiran Earthmovers Pvt Ltd, J.G. Chemicals Limited, EPCM Service & Supply Pvt Ltd, Jasta Alloys Private Limited, Jammu Pigments and Ampex Energies Pvt Ltd. Under the proposed partnerships, these companies have expressed interest in establishing manufacturing facilities, engineering operations and related services at the park. The latest agreements build on earlier partnerships with Tripura Group, CMR Green Technologies, Group Nirmal and Sulfozyme Agro India. The expanding network of prospective partners is expected to support the development of an integrated downstream manufacturing cluster, bringing together suppliers, technology providers, engineering businesses and industrial manufacturers.

The Zinc Industrial Park is being developed in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO). The proposed facility will offer developed industrial land, access to an earmarked share of Hindustan Zinc's metal production and support from the company's Centre of Excellence and research and development facilities. These resources are intended to help participating businesses develop new products, improve production processes and explore specialised zinc alloys and applications.

The park is expected to attract investments across several downstream segments, including galvanising, die-casting, zinc alloys, zinc oxide, zinc wire and advanced zinc applications. These products have applications in infrastructure, construction, automotive, renewable energy, engineering and other industrial sectors. The initiative also aims to encourage participation from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with investment opportunities starting from ₹5 crore, enabling smaller manufacturers and entrepreneurs to enter the zinc value chain.
