Trade, investment, advanced manufacturing, digitalisation and connectivity, healthcare, skills and sustainability are expected to be discussed. The meeting will also serve as a platform to discuss progress made under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Singapore and explore areas for further cooperation.
Goyal will also be accompanied by an Indian business delegation of senior business leaders from various sectors, numbering around 70. The delegation will engage in B2B and G2B business meetings and events to build new investment and business relationships between the two economies.
Singapore is a key economic ally of India and the largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI) to the country with inflows of around USD 19.8 billion in FY2025-26. The depth of the investment relationship is reflected in the cumulative amount of FDI from Singapore to India that stood at nearly $194.68 billion during April 2000-March 2026.
The visit follows the two nations' efforts to diversify their cooperation into new areas beyond business and investment including technology and manufacturing, as well as emerging industries. New partnerships and improved business linkages are anticipated to benefit from increased participation from the private sector.

The fourth round of the ministerial dialogue and the business talks that follow are expected to further enhance the economic cooperation between India and Singapore and pave the way for the next phase of bilateral cooperation.
