
Sitharaman, Manturov Discuss Investment, Financial Cooperation
Nirmala Sitharaman and Denis Manturov discuss strengthening India-Russia economic ties, focusing on investment flows, financial cooperation and mechanisms to support greater bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
The Finance and Corporate Affairs Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has met the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov in New Delhi. This discussion is in regard to steps that need to be taken to improve economic relations between India and Russia.
These talks take place in the context of efforts being made by India and Russia to develop an economic relationship through investments, financial transactions and trade. Both parties look at ways of making it easier for firms and investors from both nations to be able to invest more.
