The Ministry of Tourism has signed a two-year MoU with IndiGo to launch the "Incredible India by IndiGo" campaign, leveraging the airline's domestic and international network to promote India's tourism offerings and enhance the country's visibility as a global travel destination.

The Ministry of Tourism has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) to strengthen the promotion of India as a preferred global tourism destination. The strategic, non-exclusive and non-financial collaboration will combine the Ministry's flagship Incredible India initiative with IndiGo's extensive domestic and international network to expand the country's tourism outreach across key global markets.

The agreement was signed in New Delhi in the presence of Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and IndiGo. The partnership aims to increase the visibility of India's tourism offerings by leveraging the airline's customer engagement platforms and extensive connectivity across India and international destinations.

Under the MoU, the two organisations will jointly roll out a global communication initiative titled "Incredible India by IndiGo." The campaign will showcase India's diverse tourism experiences, including cultural heritage, historical monuments, natural landscapes, spiritual destinations, wellness tourism, adventure activities, wildlife, and other experiential travel offerings. The initiative seeks to position India as a compelling destination for both domestic and international travellers.

The promotional campaign will be executed through multiple channels, including digital and print media, airport branding, in-flight platforms, social media, international travel exhibitions, and other marketing initiatives. The Ministry of Tourism will provide access to Incredible India brand assets, promotional content, and stakeholder coordination, while IndiGo will create destination-focused content and amplify tourism messaging across its communication platforms.

The collaboration also includes joint participation in tourism promotion programmes, destination-specific campaigns, and other mutually agreed initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of India's tourism potential in priority markets. By integrating government-led destination branding with the airline's broad customer reach, the partnership is expected to strengthen India's international tourism promotion efforts and encourage higher tourist arrivals.

The initiative supports the government's broader objective of enhancing India's global tourism profile while showcasing the country's rich cultural, natural, and experiential attractions to a wider international audience.
