Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini invites Singapore investors to explore opportunities in the state, highlighting its industrial potential, infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and scope for cooperation in technology, logistics, energy, education, and healthcare.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has invited Singapore’s business community to invest in the state, highlighting its industrial potential, infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and opportunities across multiple sectors.

Saini made the appeal during a programme organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) in Singapore. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and India’s Ambassador to Singapore Shilpak Ambule also attended the programme, which brought together Singaporean industrialists and representatives from various sectors.

The meeting focused on strengthening economic cooperation between India and Singapore and expanding trade and investment relations. Saini briefed participants on Haryana’s investment environment, industrial capabilities, infrastructure development and facilities available to businesses. He urged Singaporean companies to take advantage of investment opportunities in the state.

Representatives from manufacturing, technology, logistics, energy, education and healthcare participated in discussions during the programme. The engagement provided a platform to explore potential areas of cooperation and identify opportunities for greater business collaboration between Singapore and Indian states.

Ambassador Shilpak Ambule emphasised the need to further strengthen India-Singapore economic and diplomatic relations. The participation of the chief ministers of Haryana and Chhattisgarh was also positioned as an opportunity to deepen engagement between Singapore’s business community and Indian states.

Saini said continued dialogue with Singaporean businesses could help create new opportunities for investment, trade and technological collaboration. He expressed hope that such interactions would contribute to giving a new direction to economic cooperation between India and Singapore.

The Haryana government has been seeking to attract investment by highlighting the state’s industrial ecosystem, connectivity and infrastructure. The latest outreach comes as Haryana looks to expand its engagement with international investors and strengthen its position as an investment destination.

Senior Haryana officials, including Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Industries and Commerce Department Commissioner and Secretary Amit Kumar Agrawal, and senior representatives of the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), also participated in the programme.

The Singapore Business Federation was represented by Chairman Mark Lee and member Prasoon Mukherjee, along with other business representatives and officials.
